Our staff are our main resource and we invest in them well. Apart from training and development opportunities we involve our staff in a wide range of other activities including team meetings, organisational meetings, focus groups and staff away-days. At an individual level all staff receive regular supervision, an annual staff development review and an individualised training and development review.

We are, and want to continue to be regarded as a good employer; we want working for the organisation to be a positive and happy experience.

We provide a generous salary along with comprehensive sickness pay, a pension, 25 days annual holiday which after five years service rises to 30 days each year, plus the eight bank holiday days each year.

Become a Trustee

Meetings for Trustees are held six times per year in the Association offices in the evening.  In addition, we currently have two executive sub-committees (The Service and Clinical Governance committee and the Financial and General Purpose’s committee) to which participation is encouraged.

The main tasks of a Trustee are:

  1. To read the Executive Committee papers
  2. To attend the executive meetings and play an active role in strategic decision making
  3. To undertake action in support of Committee decisions as requested
  4. To contribute areas of particular expertise
  5. To maintain confidentiality on all issues

Trustees are volunteers, but travel costs and reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
